“I’ve known Ged and Julie Hoburn for quite some time now. They’re both loyal fans of my music and Ged has helped me tremendously as a much appreciated member of my annual ‘Nelsonica’ fan convention team. When I first heard the story of Ged and Julie’s daughter’s struggle with cancer, I was moved by the courage the whole family had shown. I never had the good fortune to meet Sara but I do realise that she was a very special girl and dearly loved by all her family. Sara’s Hope Foundation is a wonderful testimony to that love.
Anyone who knows Ged and Julie will have experienced their kindness, compassion and warmth. It’s this same compassion that has been the driving force behind Sara’s Hope Foundation…the dedication and energy they have put into this project has been remarkable. Sara’s Hope Foundation has grown from seed to fruition in a relatively short space of time. I think it is a wonderful achievement and know that it will continue to contribute something of positive value to the lives of those families to which it reaches out. I wish the Hoburns and Sara’s Hope Foundation all the very best for the future and am grateful and proud to be associated with it’s cause.”

I am a member of the Nelsonica team which helps organise a fan convention every year .We are thrilled that over the last three years we have been invited as the nominated charity for this prestigious and unique event .The support from Bill,his family,the Nelsonica team and his fans have been extremely touching and with Bill`s help we have raised a substantial amount of funds
