Our Aims

Aims and Objectives

Our overall aim is to offer many young cancer patients and their families a much needed break together, creating smiles, hopes and precious memories.

Our main objective is to raise sufficient capital to purchase a holiday retreat on the Greek island of Crete that will welcome and support at least 20 such families a year.

Our aim is to offer a holiday retreat to families that is appropriately located in a beach resort with close proximity to the airport and a suitable hospital, whilst combining the benefits of both tranquil scenery and plenty of local amenities to suit children and young people.

Our objective is to seek the input of our potential beneficiaries when designing  and developing the holiday retreat to ensure that it offers the facilities and experiences that children and young people want to enjoy with their family.

Cancer affects families financially as well as physically and emotionally. Our aim is to provide these families with a holiday without financial burden or stress.

It is our objective to organise holiday arrangements on behalf of the families (in consultation with social/medical professionals) and cover the costs of flights and transfers as well as contribute to additional holiday costs such as meals and activities. Maintenance and cleaning of the retreat will be taken care of by our staff daily.
